Fridge Rack Glass

The fridge rack glass is designed for installation inside refrigerator compartments, variable-temperature areas, fruit and vegetable sections, and other food storage spaces. It provides a flat surface for supporting food, drinks, containers, and everyday refrigerated items.

The shelf is made from transparent tempered glass. Its length, width, corner radius, and local notches can be customized according to the refrigerator liner, guide rails, support points, and installation structure. The glass can also be assembled with plastic edging, metal brackets, or other supporting components.

A reference thickness of 3–4 mm is available. However, the final thickness should be selected after considering the shelf span, support method, expected load, and complete appliance test requirements. Load performance should not be determined from glass thickness alone.

Transparent glass allows users to see items stored on different levels without creating unnecessary visual obstruction inside the refrigerator. Its smooth surface is also convenient for wiping away spilled liquids, food particles, and common stains.

Different refrigerator liners and guide-rail structures may require custom notches, rounded corners, or special edge shapes. The fridge rack glass can be processed according to customer drawings or an existing sample.

Edge options include precision grinding, polishing, rounded corners, and safety-edge processing. These treatments help the glass fit plastic frames, metal edging, support rails, and other assembly parts. They also improve the edge condition for handling and installation.

The actual load requirement must be confirmed according to the shelf dimensions, glass thickness, distance between supports, and the refrigerator manufacturer's complete appliance testing standard.

The factory is equipped with automatic glass-cutting machines, CNC edge-processing equipment, and automatic tempering equipment. For refrigerator shelves, production and quality personnel check the length, width, thickness, notch position, corner radius, edge condition, tempering result, and finished appearance.

The company carries out process control under an ISO 9001 quality management system. These inspections help the shelf match guide rails, support components, and edging structures across different refrigerator models.

A sample can be arranged before volume production. Customized sample development normally takes about five days.

The minimum order quantity for the fridge rack glass is 500 pieces. Standard production normally starts from 15 days. Customized production generally requires approximately 10–20 days or more, depending on the dimensions, notches, and edge-processing requirements.

Volume production follows the approved sample and order standard. A 100% final inspection is completed before packing, and third-party inspection can be accepted.

Finished shelves are normally packed in wooden cases. Internal separation and protection can be adjusted according to the shelf dimensions, quantity per case, and transportation method. When transportation damage is confirmed after delivery, replacement quantities can be discussed according to the actual situation.
